Millerbeck Light Railway, once described as ‘Lakeland's best kept secret', has Open Days again at Spring Bank Holiday Sunday and Monday when you can enjoy riding lots of different engines which will be running - some in steam, diesels and electric. This renowned 7 ¼" private railway in Staveley-in-Cartmel, A wonderful chance to ride through the meadows and enjoy the beautiful scenery as you cross the Millerbeck!Click on this link to see our open days for 2011 |

Millerbeck News Flash - Bear seen Driving Bert the Engine! |

| During last Autumn Bank Holiday, reports came in that a Small Bear had been seen driving one of the engines. Our intrepid reporter managed to get a photo of the mystery bear at great risk to himself. Notice to all Children - If you see this bear again this year we would ask you to report it to the owners immediately! |
