The X35 Bus travels along the A590 between Kendal and Barrow in Furness regularly and services are available to Bowness and Windermere.

Cumbria County Council have just started a new bus service to Ulverston on Market days (Thurdsay's) which is provided by Blueworks Private Hire - the return fare is £3.30 with concessions for pensioners via use of the pensioners half fare concessionary travel card.
