Haverthwaite Parish Council - News

LITTER PICKING

Residents have expressed concern about the amount of litter throughout our Parish. Therefore the Council is now asking for volunteers to help with a litter pick on Saturday 4 April starting at 10am. Litter picking tools, bags etc. are being loaned to us by SLDC, and depending on the number of helpers around 2 hours should be sufficient. We hope to cover all problem roads and major paths in our area, with the exception of the A590 due to safety reasons.
