We would welcome any ideas from the community on events that could be run or groups and clubs which members of the community may wish to start or become involved in, feel free to call us and have a chat - we will be happy to help in any way we can.

St Anne's has been at the heart of the community for almost 200 years. Like most county churches it suffers from dwindling congregations as local people have to move away for affordable housing and jobs. Our New Priest in Charge, Canon Rev Peter Calvert, will be happy to discuss any of your requirements Weddings, Christenings, Funerals and other events including memorial services.
 
Peter encourages the use of the church for village events so if you have something you would like to organise and think the church could help with a venue, give the vicarage a call.
 
We are keen to create or help with events for the young, the old and those of us who are in between.
